Last weekend saw the penultimate round of the AMA US Sprint Enduro series take place in the state of West Virginia and the Hidden Valley Golf Course.

Despite there being one round left to race next month at the Wassell Works Sprint Enduro, Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s Tayla Jones was looking to do just enough to seal the 2021 title after an impressive performance at the opening four events.

With regular spells of rain all weekend, it made for some very slippery conditions at Glen Daniel; but Tayla, who is a big fan of the sprint format, was able to rely on the grip of her Kenda tyres to pull her through.

In the end it was Arizona based Bandy Richards who was fastest on the grass at the weekend in the Women’s Pro class, but P2 was all Tayla needed to do in order to get the all important title and the #1 plate.

Following the race, an elated Tayla Jones said:

“It’s only May but it has been a super fun year of sprint racing! With one round left to go I was able to wrap up the title this past weekend and I am STOKED!
