Webb Shines On EnduroCross Return; Turner Takes Women’s Title

Last weekend saw the season finale of AMA EnduroCross 2021 take place with an exciting double-header in Denver, Colorado.

After missing the first five rounds recovering from injury, Sherco FactoryOne star Cody Webb was back for the final meeting of the year on his SEF 300 Factory four stroke, fitted with his favoured Kenda Knarly supersoft enduro tyres.

Despite several weeks out of action, Cody didn’t miss a beat all weekend as he went 1 – 1 to take the overall victory ahead of Colton Haaker, and everyone was left wondering what could have been if he’d been able to race in all six rounds.

In the Women’s Pro class, it’s been an all-Kenda battle for the top spot with KTM’s Shelby Turner, Sherco’s Louise Forsley and Beta’s Morgan Tanke pushing each other all the way since the very first round.

In Denver, Canadian Shelby Turner edged out Louise Forsley to take her fifth overall win from a potential six this year to take the title.

Tyre choice has differed between the three riders this year too. While Forsley has been sticking with her favoured Knarly rear tyre this EnduroCross season, Turner has often turned to our non road-legal Ibex which shares the same supersoft compound but uses a much more flexible casing for maximum deformation around objects and obstacles.
