Kenda & JCR/Honda Announce Multi-Year Partnership

Just a few weeks on from announcing Baja legend Johnny Campbell as our latest brand ambassador, we’re pleased to be able to confirm the signing of a new multi-year partnership with his satellite JCR/Honda race team!

Formed by Campbell in 2008, the JCR/Honda team started out life with the aim of winning races and developing riders, bikes and parts capable of performing at the highest levels on some of the planet’s harshest terrain.

For more than a decade they have been a staple on the podium in events across the US and beyond, racking up hundreds of race wins and dozens of championships to become recopnised as one of the dominant forces in the US off-road scene.

The team has an impressive five rider line-up for 2021, including Campbell and his son Preston who enjoyed a superb rookie season last year.

Another household name is Ricky Brabec, the NHHA, SCORE, BITD, V2R, and Mint 400 Champion who achieved worldwide attention when he won the 2020 Dakar Rally with the Monster Energy Honda Team, becoming the first American to win the fabled race. Ricky will continue to race selected events for JCR/Honda and said:

ā€œI’m excited to be riding with Kenda on my JCR/Honda bikes. They are a brand and product I can trust. Anything is achievable if you want it bad enough and are willing to work for it.ā€

After a year spent away from the bike to focus on her family, multi-time ISDE gold medalist and X-Games medalist Tarah Gieger is also looking forward to more racing in 2021, as is teammate Kendall Norman.

With six SCORE Baja 1000 wins to his name, Norman has his sights set on Johnny Campbell’s ‘King of Baja’ title, and with many more championships under his belt he is one of the most highly decorated off-road racers currently competing in the US.

The team will be competing on a wide range of Kenda products, and we’re extremely excited to be working alongside them in the years to come!
