Last weekend saw the latest WOR Events Winter Series come to a head in Stoke, with two Kenda supported stars of the future vying for their respective titles.
In the Youth class, Chirk based Lewis Hurdsman has looked unbeatable this season, while in the 7-8 Year Old class, Dolgellau’s Jack Brooks has also been raising some eyebrows with his superb riding.
The wet weather certainly made for some challenging conditions for all the riders who made it to Staffordshire for the event, but Lewis and Jack both did us proud!
Riding on our K777F front and K779 Enduro rear, Lewis put in what was arguably one of his best performances of the competition to come away with the race win and the championship.
<Meanwhile, Jack had to cover from a crash on the second lap of his race. Thankfully that didn’t seem to bother the plucky youngster, who saw out the rest of the 90 minute race in some very wet and muddy gear to take the win and series title.
Some fantastic riding from Bala’s Conner Redman also saw him secure the runner’s up spot in the 9/10 Year Old class ahead of Jack Maudsley.
Both Jack and Conner were riding on the Kenda Millville II, a bi-directional motocross tyre with a rear tyre which can be fitted in one direction for soft terrain, and the other for intermediate.
Congratulations to all three of our young riders on some great results, and we can’t wait to see how you all get on when racing resumes in the UK in the hopefully not too distant future!
