The US National Enduro Series Pro 1 title race was already a Baylor vs Baylor affair, with brothers Steward and Grant the only riders left who had a chance of sealing the championship after Muddobbers.

Defending champion Steward was already the firm favourite, as he chased the fourth National Enduro title of his career at Zink Ranch with a solid 31-point lead over Grant.

However, a series of uncharacteristic mistakes from the elder Baylor brother, and a perfect performance from Grant to win the penultimate round meant he failed to wrap things up in Oklahoma.

The final round of the season took place at Gobbler Getter in Alabama earlier this month, and the two brothers trade test wins, with Steward emerging victorious as he took four wins in total at the event.

“I think we were separated by seconds going into that last one,” said Steward. “That’s pretty cool. It’s badass to be doing this with your brother, it just makes it that much better.”

In the highly competitive Pro2 class, the title also went to a rider on Kenda as Liam Draper of Tely Energy KTM, while Rom Commo finished the season with a podium as he took third in class.
